OVERVIEW:
Dispatch technicians and subcontractors to service requests and installations. Provide telephone support to customers. Perform receptionist and administrative duties.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Open and manage service calls
-Dispatch service calls to technicians
-Set appointments with clients
-Follow-up on dispatched calls to ensure client’s satisfaction and job done correctly
-Supply client’s history to technicians
-Perform system’s test during a service call
-Inform the technicians of test’s results
-Upload/Download data to panels for customers and technicians
-General administrative duties
-Maintain and distribute standard and requested reports
-Reconcile installation/service tickets and time sheets with dispatching system
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Full Time Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30 am to 5:30 pm)
Ability to react to constant changes with customer requests
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to resolve and manage problems
Willing to take on challenges
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Excellent communication skills
-Sound judgment in prioritizing tasks
- Excellent organizational skills
-1 – 3 years Dispatch/Administrative experience
-Computer literate
-Geographic knowledge of the NYC Metropolitan area
-Bilingual (an asset)
Location: Roosevelt, Long Island
Compensation: $13 - $17
